iPhone 5s vs iPhone 6 Features

On top of a bigger screen there are a number of potential iPhone 6 features Apple may add to the new iPhone. Even with an iOS 8 update this fall, we don’t expect the iPhone 5s will match the iPhone 6 feature for feature. Rumors suggest the iPhone 6 will feature TouchID, like the iPhone 5s. Expect both of these to offer more functionality thanks to iOS 8.

Expect an updated processor and other new iPhone 6 features like an improved camera.

The iPhone 5s features a 64-bit Apple A7 processor with M7 coprocessor. The A7 processor is dual-core with 1GB of RAM. Recent iPhone 6 rumors suggest an Apple A8 processor that is also 64-bit and dual core with 1GB of RAM. It may be clocked at 2GHz and it would not be surprising to see an Apple M8 coprocessor as well.

Apple may use an 8MP camera on the iPhone 6, which is the same rating as the iPhone 5s camera, but reports suggest there is an upgrade coming. It may be in the form of bigger pixels that improve low light photography or through image stabilization that can help users take better looking photos.
